The Limone Primo Fiore (Italian for “first blossom”) is the finest and most productive main harvest of the Sicilian lemon, particularly of the Femminello Siracusano variety. The name is derived directly from the first blossoming of the lemon tree, which takes place between March and June, with its fruits being harvested the following winter.

- Shape & Color: It has a classic elliptical, elongated shape. At the beginning of the harvest period in autumn, its smooth skin is still light green and ripens over the course of the winter into a uniform, vibrant lemon yellow.
- Flesh & Juice: The flesh is extremely juicy. It delivers a particularly high juice yield of at least 34%.
- Flavor & Acidity: Its aroma is intense and characterized by a high acidity level (at least 6%), while simultaneously possessing a pleasantly balanced flavor profile.
- Essential Oils: The peel is exceptionally rich in highly aromatic essential oils. Since it is mostly distributed untreated, it is highly sought after in fine dining as well as for the production of perfume and cosmetics.
