🌡️ The “fridge window” (shelf life: max. 1–2 weeks)TgQPHd|||[]Genuine long-term storage of the whole fruit is not possible at room temperature. However, you can postpone the optimal moment of ripeness in the fridge, or halt the ripening process: As soon as the Apulian avocado takes on its typical dark violet colour, place it straight into the vegetable drawer of the fridge (at approx. 6–8 °C). This slows down enzymatic breakdown and keeps the fruit for approx. 5 to 7 days in perfect condition.
